Nature of the Service

SteadiDay™ is a personal organization and reminder tool. It is designed to help you manage daily tasks, medications, and contacts. The app also includes AI-powered features (such as medication label scanning, insurance card scanning, and voice transcription), optional premium subscriptions, and caregiver activity sharing.

No Medical Advice or Treatment

The app does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Any health information you receive through the app, including data from Apple Health, Health Connect, or other integrations, is for informational purposes only.

Always consult your doctor, pharmacist, or other qualified healthcare provider before making medical decisions.

Health Data Disclaimer

When you enable health integrations (such as Apple Health on iPhone or Health Connect on Android), you acknowledge and accept that:

• All health data is displayed for informational and wellness tracking purposes only
• We do not verify, validate, or guarantee the accuracy of health data from any source
• Health data should not be used as the sole basis for medical decisions
• We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of data from health platforms
• We disclaim all liability for health outcomes or medical decisions based on health data or any other health-related features

AI-Powered Features Disclaimer

SteadiDay™ uses artificial intelligence (provided by OpenAI) to extract text from photos of medication labels and insurance cards, and to transcribe voice input. You acknowledge that:

• AI text extraction and transcription may produce errors, omissions, or inaccuracies
• You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-extracted information before relying on it
• AI-extracted medication information (drug names, dosages, frequencies) must be verified against your actual prescription
• AI-extracted insurance information (member IDs, group numbers) must be verified against your actual card
• We are not liable for any consequences arising from inaccurate AI-generated text, including incorrect medication information or insurance details

Medication Reminders Are Not Guaranteed

While the app provides medication reminders, we cannot guarantee that all reminders will work perfectly. Reminders may fail due to:

• Device settings
• Software bugs
• Network issues
• Other technical problems

Not an Emergency Service

SteadiDay™ is not an emergency response service. The emergency contact features send messages to your designated contacts, but we cannot guarantee message delivery.

Fall Detection Limitations

If you use fall detection features, understand that:

• They may not detect all falls
• They may trigger false alarms
• Fall detection relies on device sensors that can be affected by normal movements, device placement, and other factors

If fall detection activates and you do not respond within the countdown period, the app will automatically send an SMS alert with your name and GPS location to all your saved trusted contacts. This text is sent through a third-party SMS service (Twilio) and requires an internet connection. Delivery is not guaranteed and depends on cellular network availability, carrier filtering, and the recipient's device status.

This feature is a convenience tool, not a medical monitoring device.

Accuracy of Information

You are responsible for entering accurate information into the app. We are not responsible for consequences arising from:

• Incorrect medication schedules
• Wrong contact information
• Other inaccurate data you provide

Always verify critical information with your healthcare providers.

Technical Limitations

The app may experience:

• Software bugs or glitches
• Service interruptions or downtime
• Data sync failures
• Notification delivery problems
• Compatibility issues with your device or other apps

Caregiver Activity Sharing Disclaimer

SteadiDay™ allows you to optionally share activity summaries (such as medication adherence, task completion, and step counts) with a designated caregiver. You acknowledge that:

• Shared activity data may not reflect your actual health status or daily activities with complete accuracy
• Caregiver sharing is a convenience feature and is not a substitute for direct communication with caregivers or healthcare providers
• We are not responsible for actions taken by caregivers based on shared activity data
• You are responsible for managing who has access to your shared data
• Shared data may be delayed due to sync intervals or network conditions

Subscription Services Disclaimer

SteadiDay™ offers optional premium subscriptions. You acknowledge that:

• Subscription purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, not by SteadiDay directly
• Subscription refunds are subject to Apple's or Google's refund policies
• We reserve the right to modify which features are included in free vs. premium tiers with reasonable notice
• Service interruptions may temporarily affect access to premium features
• Core safety features (Emergency SOS, fall detection, trusted contacts) will remain available regardless of subscription status

Data Storage and Loss

SteadiDay™ stores your data on your device. If you sign in, some data also syncs to our servers for backup. We are not responsible for data loss due to:

• Device loss, theft, or damage
• Software updates or reinstallation
• Failure to maintain device backups
• Operating system changes or resets

We recommend backing up your device regularly and using the app's data export feature to save a copy of your information.

Release of Liability

You release and hold harmless SteadiDay™, SCM Solutions LLC, and all developers, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

• Missed medication doses
• Failed or delayed notifications
• Incorrect information in the app
• Service outages or technical failures
• Reliance on app features for medical decisions
• Any health outcomes related to app use
• Inaccuracies, errors, or omissions in health data from any source
• Medical decisions or health outcomes based on health data or any other health-related features
• Data loss due to device issues or lack of backup
• Inaccuracies in AI-extracted text from medication labels, insurance cards, or voice transcription
• Actions taken by caregivers based on shared activity data
• Subscription billing disputes or access interruptions

Assumption of Risk

By using SteadiDay™, you acknowledge that you understand these limitations and assume all risks associated with using the app.

Maximum Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our maximum liability for any claims related to the app is limited to the greater of:

• The amount you paid for the app or subscriptions in the past 12 months, or
• $100

Your Responsibilities

You agree to maintain backup systems for critical tasks like medication management.

Acknowledgment

By using SteadiDay™, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to this Liability Waiver.

If you do not agree, you should not use the app.
